I finally was able to get a decent picture of my little 10 gallon nano start-up. But it's not the best quality as it was taken with my iphone, which hates LED lighting and funny enough, it's set up in a college dorm room.

what do u use for filtration Just a normal power filter. I just take the pad that has carbon in it and unclip the plastic on the top (it is made to come unclipped) put some Kents Nitrogen remover pellets in there with it, then clip it back up and I'm good to go Nothing fancy.

I set up my filters to serve as little refugiums Sent from my HTC6525LVW using proboards My filter doesn't have enough room for that without taking out the pad. I'm getting a ton of amazon credit for selling my college books back on there, so I might get a larger filter so I can do both

Take the pad out, create a small chamber and put some filter floss in there, then fill the rest with macro algae, which serves as a completely natural filter as well as providing a place for pods to grow

I'm loving my 10 gallon. I bought a 30 to upgrade a few months ago but the better and better my 10 looks the more I think I'm just going to keep it small.

I love it. Small and cute. I've had really good luck with mine. Other than clowns that never seem to survive. Mines right in my room and the lights run on my work schedule so I love it.

Stephen in Freeport breeds clowns, if he has any baby's that may be your next best bet on getting a healthy clown. I got one from him when I first started my tank and it was very healthy and did great in my tank.
