I decided to make my bicolor blenny a house after he decided he wanted to live in my koralia and almost got chopped into pieces, despite having lots of other holes to hide in. I used epoxy to make the basic structure and then glued rubble on the outside to make it more natural looking. He started using it right away. The epoxy house, with blenny periscope: the finished house The happy blenny

I've been doing this exact thing for dusky jawfish and engineer gobies for years! Mine are usually under the sand bed though.
