has anyone had any experience with a long tentacle plate coral i resently purchased a green one and am not sure uf it needs any special care

Place it on the sand bed rocky surfaces scratch the flesh so keep it out of rock work.

I have a short tentacle that looks a lot like a pinwheel that I do nothing to and it has grown and done quite well but it is in my mandarins tank that I feed live bugs on a regular bases

They are cool to feed. All plates are pigs. Not really any special care out of the ordinary.

just keep it in lower flow in the sand it will be fine, same basic care as most lps. I feed my sunset plate mysid twice a week and it is defiantly happier
