So I think I need another little tank set up lol. I want to start a chalice garden. I love my 5gln tanks, but think I want something shorter. Like a mini lagoon. Any ideas? No more than 10glns

check this out.. www.glasscages.com/?sAction=ViewCat&lCatID=46 they have a 10 gallon rimless tank thats 10" x 20" x 6" very lagoon like. lol I didn't even know they made tanks that small like this. they're expensive though. I'd just pick the dimensions you like and build one. ten gallon tank wouldn't be hard to throw together.

If I build it, it shall leak. They are pricey but that's what I'd like to have. Note who builds them lol

They sell cut starphire glass in 1/4 inch for 10 bucks a sf. You could build a nice tank for a good price.

But don't it require adhesive and clamps and whatever tools I don't have? I'm also living in a hotel lol. I don't even have a screwdriver that's not 200 miles away lol

If you picked out the stuff I'm sure someone would put it together for you? All you really need is silicone and tape for a tank that small. If you knew exactly what measurements you wanted maybe Rob our someone would build it for you? I know Rob has glass and glass tools. I'd offer to help out and do it but I live a ways away and I'm sure someone closer would help you out. Or you could just buy it like you want to and save your self the hassle of it all.

Another member has a 5gln, same dimensions as a 10 but 6" height. Only thing that sucks is it's not rim less. I think a bunch of chalice in a shallow tank would look awesome. I need all of these Sent from my HTC6525LVW using proboards

I have no clue lol. But I'm gonna get some nice ones somehow, even if only one eye at a time. I'm also interested in grafting them, but I think with chalice it's better done naturally, or by injection from one to the other. I want to try the drip method with some and injection on others.

Now I'm contemplating building a small lagoon style tank.haha Idk if it'll be as small as you want, but I'm thinking in the 20 gallon range? With an 8"depth. I just happen to have a 30 gallon stand in my living room with an empty tank!
