I pissed off my anemone by moving sone rocks around. It was perfectly happy but has been on the move since... It got dangerously close to the overflow and has now moved off the overflow box and is hanging at the top of the tank getting pounded by an mp10 on pulse mode. Advice please? It looks shriveled . Here it is in relation to everything else in the tank.

Drill the rock then feed it there as soon as it will take food

How do I get it off the glass and make sure it doesn't float around?

Use your finger just keep rubbing the base of his foot, he will start to let go and you can peel him off. Some people use a credit card to slip under them and peel the foot back. Just be careful however you do it to not damage the foot. I hear ice cubes work well also.

I would leave him alone, he's obviously stressed and they will go where they want to go no matter where you put them. He will find a better spot on his own, just keep an eye on him and move any beloved corals out of his way. I've had mine do this several times, and he's always been ok. Sometimes less is more in a saltwater tank.

Some just like it on the glass. Just keep your intakes covered with panty house or something so he don't get chopped up and let him go where he wants. I agree should just be left alone, but if you have to move him then take care not to damage him.

They have no brain so if u create the right conditions for it, it will most likely stay. like light, flow, and a nice diameter hole for the foot, and feed once a day. should be happy as a clam

Rubbing the outside of the glass where its foot is with an ice cube will make them let go or move...or so I heard anyway.
