I do know from the past that they can be very hard to keep depending on location of harvest and handling. I do not know of anyone who has successfully fragged one. I do know that the red ones are the easiest to keep.

I think you might need to frag it, heal it, then offer the frag. As BriMc says, fragging Goni is not easy...lousy survival rates. That being said, I'm guessing there would be a lot of interest in frags of a colony that is known to do well in captivity.

So the tiny trial piece I fragged is opened up now and looks good I made sure to get a little bit of the rock it was attached to and i separated it from the rest of the colony with a brand new razor blade so the cut was super clean, I then super glued to a frag rock. Am I lucking out or do they usually get to this stage before they go to crap right after?
