I'm going to be visiting Florida on the East coast next to The Kennedy Space Center in July. I know there are a lot of great LFS and coral growing facilities in the area... Can anyone recommend places to visit?
ORA has a facility in Fort Pierce, about 100 miles south from where I'll be... I will be visiting if they offer tours.

Not sure for that area. If you get over west a bit there are some fish farms. Some do offer tours, I think Segrest might. Might be able to search on Goggle to find some. Also, I have heard the fishing in that area is fantastic.

You can actually get collection permits in Fl as well. If you want to pick up stuff from the ocean for free. Just make sure you are permitted, that you understand the rules, and that you are in water where it is legal to collect.

It's going to be hard to not want to bring something home... However, traveling in July to Florida with two kids ages 6 and 8, 2 dogs, a wife (lol), and typical high 90's temperature in a packed vehicle... ain't gonna happen. No way.
