I have atmann 2000 that's practically brand new only used a couple weeks. I had a power outage (like everyone else) around Christmas time. And the power surge must of done something to the pump? It was firing up every couple times I'd plug it in before....but now after sorting for awhile it won't kick on at all? It kinda hums and I can feel a slight vibration but no matter how much I plug it in it just won't fire? Are these kind of pumps even serviceable? I know they're sealed in the back for good reason but it seems like it almost makes them useless if something happens? I need it atm and of course it's broken!

I had the same thing with my Atman pump if you shut it off you had to take it apart to get it started again. With the exception of taking the impeller out and cleaning it there is nothing else you can do. Make sure when re assembling you put the small white washers back in the way they came out. I went through three of these pumps in two years and ended up doing a pump upgrade on my NAC6A.
