I have had multiple fish vanish... I am wondering if he anem. is the culprit... any thoughts?

+1 definitely known for eating fish and or aiding and abetting in them disappearing!
How big is it? Bigger ones needed to be fed often and they might not do it. I was told the only way to really be sure they won't eat any fish is to feed well and or have them hosted, So they are getting fed.
