Buying fish at Petco is like playing a scratch ticket..........sometimes you win, most of the time you loose. Ya especially when you lose all your other fish, too!

Fiancee decided we needed to get a yellow tang. Ended up spreading ich to paired percula clowns (over three years old), yellow headed sand goby, 3 stripe damsel, a green chromis, and my prize yellow tail damsel. Why was it prized you ask? It was over 7 years old. been through 2 moves, and countless different tanks. All gone.

This all just happened a couple of days ago. Just had surgery yesterday, so not doing much about it right now. Besides, I have a coral banded shrimp that has decided skunk cleaners are a delicacy!

If not I may sell you mine! I'm really starting to hate my cleaner shrimp there di©¥ heads and thieves! They're big to but I just don't like having to protect everything in my tank that gets fed! Plus I never see them cleaning fish at all anymore? Are fire shrimp this annoying?

Are fire shrimp this annoying? Fire shrimp tend to hide all the time, so you barely see them. I had one for about 2 years and it was beautiful when you could see it, but most of the time it was upside down on the top of a cave in my rocks. For $35 I want to see the damn thing.........LOL

+1 on the fire shrimp, I have 2. They will only come out when feeding so you will only see them when they are being annoying.

They always hide except when there is food around, the key is to have an overhang or cave where they can be made visible all the time.
