I found this di resin on eBay and kinda wanted to know more about it and other types of di resin?? What Are there advantages and disadvantages to different kinds?? Idk if everyone can see/read the package on the picture but it says it's nuclear grade di resin? I don't think it's color changing but not positive? Attachments:

I have been using BRS for 10+ years now and never any issues, tried and proven. Tough part is the link you provided you cannot tell the media size. The Price for your link is 15.00 for a 1 lb package. BRS is 12.99 for a 1.25 lb package. BSR is color changing media which is not a biggie but gives you some idea where your media is.

That's why I'm asking because I want to know if "nuclear grade" is kind of a gimmick?

The term nuclear refers to the megaohm resistivity of the water the higher the more pure the water. In theory that is. Nuclear is suppose to produce the purest water. I have also used the filter guys and buckeye reef DI media the three look exactly he same.

That's because they all buy from the same wholesaler and just package it with their own labels! Lol Just like most generic products if you pay attention, Most are the same with their own labels. Like Wal-Mart's equate and rite aids brand or the dollar store. They all do this.
