If I don't like the MP10 I picked up today, I'm going to go with 2 WP-25's with that new controller. $130 for the setup at fish-street.com...........it's only money.........LOL

I just picked up a WP-25 for the 65 gallon build and put it in the 29 gallon and it was way too much for the 29 but it will be awesome in the 65. I am thinking about doing the same thing as Steve mentioned, Two WP-25's on the 65 with the new dual controller.

Looks like I might be going that route...........MP10 is making too much noise in my living room.
2 - WP25 or 2 - WP10..........now that's the question.
I'd rather go bigger and use a lower setting, so 2-WP25 and the new controller.

Anyone tried the really tiny ones? Might be interesting for a smaller tank.

Fish street also sells a different power supply that reduces the Voltage from 24v to 12v which is suppose to cut the water output in half and not effect the operation of the controller like the aftermarket dimmer does. I guess from what I have read you can dial these back to roughly 6 volts but you loose the light sensor and anything below 6v you start having trouble with the controller and possibly damaging the controller.

Found some pictures online showing size comparisons. WP40 ........Koralia Evolution........WP25.........Koralia Nano WP10 with a Nano 425 The WP25 looks to be just slightly bigger then the Koralia Nano series, and much smaller then the Evolution series. The WP10 is really small, great for smaller tanks and will "hide" well. The WP40 and WP60 are beasts........but the flow must be insane. Steve

The flow is great on the wp-40 but I wouldn't use it unless it's being put on a 4'long tank. Anything under 4' I'd use wp-25 or wp-10. I want to switch to 2 wp-25's with the new dual controller!

Fish-street charges $35 shipping, and they won't be available until 3/15. I emailed a couple of US sellers on Ebay, and they won't have the new controller for 3-4 weeks.......but they charge free shipping.
Group buy with Fish-street might be in order.

Looks to me like they changed the case design and added a rubber washer to stop the clicking or snapping noise when the powerhead ramps up. Some of these make a noise when the powerhead ramps up to full speed and slows down because the powerhead moves back and forth in the bracket making a clicking sound.
A friend of mine picked up two sets of the two pumps with the new dual controller. His comments were he was confused at first when he was looking to buy them but after owning them and experimenting with them he finds that he has much more control over the pumps now than he did with the 2nd generation of controllers. The new power supply also has a switch allowing you to control the voltage from 12v to 24v with settings in between.

Yeah but this is only for the wp-40 right? Not the new controller just this one pump with the new casing and rubber mounts?
