Anyone using one of these for a return pump?
My wife has a silence ordinance........LOL
So I'm looking for a silent return pump, and these DC pumps seem to be what I'm looking for.
I'd like some feedback before buying.

i havnt used one but from what I have read on them is they have a vibration noise, but to fix that with any pump put a mouse pad under the pump
with my tank the biggest source of noise is the overflow, in the sump and at the drain... the rest can be silenced fairly easily, put rigid styrofoam under the tank and sump, put pads under the pumps, muffler on the skimmer...

Right now the only noise I'm getting are from the Rio 2500 return pump, and a little vibration from the skimmer supports on the glass bottom.
The overflow isn't bad at all, but the steady hum of the other 2 have go to go.

I'm searching the house for them now, can never find them when you need them.
