By far the best in the state of Maine for quality and rarity of livestock. Incredible service, always willing to go the extra mile to make the customer happy. I can't believe it took me so long to start going to cultivated reef! It's a long drive for most of us in mid coast or southern Maine but well worth it. I 100% recommend making an appointment to stop by and see Greg and all his incredible corals!

I like Cultivated so much I often currier coral down south for many of you. The truth though is its even better if you can make the drive. I frequently visit and get some of the cool things that don't get a chance to make it on the website like my bright green Aussie maze coral....or my new giant red polyps with the blue center and green mouth...I'm sure you'll see that one soon ;0) Truly amazing stuff the selection and prices rival any saltwater place in New England I've been too. I share one complaint with Ryan and its that I didn't find out about it sooner.

Cultivated reef shows you that they are hobbyist first and business second. With their great customer service and they make sure to have a hands on relationship with the costomer. I ordered a coral that doesn't ship very well and 1 thing that wasn't in stock and promptly received an email stating this and a personal phone # to call as to discuss options for different corals and what may work best. Lastly I've been looking for sometime for a purple tabling acro and greg promptly found me one and made it a deal I couldn't refuse! Knowing I wanted the coral and would pay anything (within reason) and still gave me a great deal. With the tier discount and the instant 15$ savings for mfs forum members only I saved 40$ off at checkout! Thats not counting sale prices and discounts in total I think I saved $100+. Never could have gotten this many high end beautiful frags for this price anywhere else! Only 1 thing could make it better and that's if I lived closer to cultivated reef.  support your lfs keep your money in Maine. |

I agree with everything above except I'm glad I don't live close because I'd be there all the time and I'd have no money. Greg is a stand up guy for sure though!

I stand by what I say when I say Greg is awesome! I've been happy with every purchase from him so far. And I've spend quite a lot with him now. What he lacks in fish for sale he makes up for in corals and the ability to get great high quality equipment for the best prices. No other coral vendor here in Maine can compete with the variety and quality of his corals.

If you need to order anything reef related cultivated reef should be at the very least one of your first stops to check prices! Always willing to do what they can within reason and so far has always given me the best price I can find anywhere even online! Saved me almost 100$ today! Always great coral to! |
