I'm hunting for a skimmer for my new 90 gallon really can't afford a $400 skimmer looking to find the best one I can for around $200 any suggestions??

For around 229.00 you won't go wrong with the Reef Octopus NWB 150. I have been running one for over 2 years without a single issue. You have some wide latitude with easy adjustments on the type of skim you want to pull, and it only draws 21 watts which is quite low for power consumption comparing to other makes of a similar size.

+1 SCA Skimmer, that's the one I will be purchasing when I upgrade. I've looked at a lot of reviews and they seem to do the job of the big $$ skimmers for a fraction of the price.

SCA 302 or 303
The 303 is taller than the 302. You might want to measure and find the heights if the skimmer. The 303 was built for narrow spaces but is taller than the 302. I use the 302 on my 40b frag tank. I'm in brunswick if you want to see it in action. I like it better than my $350 tunze skimmer.

+1 to the sca-303 I think it's rated smaller but it actually has a bigger pump then the sca-302 if I remember right?
