So yesterday i noticed one of my green emerald crabs dead in my frag tank upside down missing one leg. This morning i noticied a large g.e.c. picking away in my display tank. When i come home the first thing i see ..... a dead g.e.c. missing one leg. Mind you theies tanks are 40' from each other and are not connected nore have i done anything to either tank other then feed it in over a week. So beware there is a crab murderer on the loose with a leg fetish

it was fine with most everything.... also pretty sure all mathrix crabs get hair on their legs when they get big. my red did the same thing.....
they are omnivores, when they are small they stick mostly to veggies(algae) but once they get big they try a little of everything, and really like sps polyps. I have even herd of them eating fish...

The hairy legged ones that ate bad also have different claws. Called like gorilla crabs or something
