We thought this might be fun. What is the strangest, or most embarasing thing you've done concerning aquarium / fish keeping?

We decided to spray paint our 45 gal. aquarium background inside our kitchen on a rainy day.......blue dust everywhere! What a mess! We had to take a trip with the kids just to get us all out of the house away from the paint fumes.

Broke a syphon on an overflow and forgot about it. At least I caught it fast enough so only a small amount of water hit the floor.
