I'm on the verge of buying a MP10 this weekend, but I'm not sure on where to put it in my tank for the best results. I've seen some pictures online of people mounting them dead center in the back glass behind the rock, but I'm not sure how that will work. I've thought about putting it on one of the side glasses so it has a more open flow. It's a 35 hex, and I've attached a picture I just took this morning. Everything was still sleepy since the lights just came on.  Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks, Steve |

with the dimensions of the tank its going to be hard to place. for best results I would say center of the front glass but then it is in the way. I think no matter what you will need a couple pumps to disperse the flow

Center on of the back side panes adjust flow. I think you'll just need to keep it lower this will disperse it across the whole tank diagonally I think it would be fine.

It's definitely not the easiest tank to get great flow in, I'm hoping by leaving the 2 Nano's in place and putting the MP10 in a couple of different spots to try it out I'll be able to find the sweet spot.

Well, I haven't really decided yet. I'm going to be looking around this weekend and ordering. As long as I get a receipt dated this weekend for the rebate, I'm not concerned about a backorder.

Decided against the MP10..........going to upgrade my 2 Koralias to the 850s and save over $120.
Maybe later pick up the Smart Wave and control them with that.
