the wifey was taking pics of the new coral I got from cultivated reef (yes the wifey!! she likes it as much as I do) so I grabbed the camera and got a pic of the newest nem and one of my fishies lobo from cultivatedreef.com (wifey named it "papa smurf")  anthias  bta's  |

I love how the bta have a pinkish red color when irs next to the rbta! Makes it look like a rainbow bta? Now that you've had it in your tank awhile have you figured out the kind of bta it is?

its a bta lol! and it does have red in it under the orange, it goes from green base to red then orange to yellow with purple tips all bta's are called quadricolor for a reason  , they are all rainbows!!! ppl started calling them rainbow after the "rainbow acan" craze 3-4 years ago label anything with rainbow and the price goes up  |

lol that polyp is gone this weekend but its the only one im getting rid of (so the coral will fit in the spot I want it) |

How does a rose bubble tip have 4 colors? And I was only asking because you said a few different names when you first posted about it.

I will take a pic later when lights first come on.... it has speckles green, orange, red, pink....
the one I got from petco i havnt decided what to call it...... havnt seen any like it

How does a rose bubble tip have 4 colors? And I was only asking because you said a few different names when you first posted about it. I turned the lights on and got this pic before it bubbled back up  wile i was at it I took a few more   |

lighting and tank conditions play a pig part in color of corals,fish....
when I bought the new nem it was light orange. now it is showing all kinds of colors I would actually call it "rainbow" (5 or more colors)
