Can I run an atman 2000 on my bio pellet reactor? Without changing the impeller? I hooked it up last night and the cobolt maxi jet 1200 isn't enough flow. It's only slightly bubbling not getting that nice rolling tumble.
Someone help please I'd like to get this hooked up soon I'm pretty sure it'll work but just wanted to ask before I hooked it up

I'm pretty sure it'll work too. I'm mainly wondering about the impeller?? Because it has a pin wheel impeller because it's for a skimmer. But it's the only extra pump I have right now.

No air hole.just wondering if I should run it like this or buy a regular impeller? I'm not positive if it makes a big difference? Attachments:

Already notice a difference! Thought it would take longer then a few days but it's definitely noticeably helping

Any ideas on how to plumb the output for my bio pellet reactor into my skimmer without causing damage to the skimmer? As most people know I have a sca-302
Also does running the pin wheel impeller effect the gph? I'm kinda wondering how I could switch it to a regular impeller? Just the blade

yes running a pinwheel does effect the GPH and head pressure.

Does anyone know if they make a regular impeller for the atmann 2000?

Or one that will fit? Did a TON of research online with no results? Anyone have a decent pump they'd like to switch for a protein skimmer pump? I need something that'll push my bio pellets way better then this thing!!

if you plumb it to circulate your pump would work fine

It's a 550 gph I believe? Atman 2000 but I don't know if I want aqueon pump, I had a couple when I first started salt water and didn't really like them. The Atman is almost brand new only had it about a month Idk why I didn't get a different pump! Stupid of me
