My RBTA released from the rock and was wandering around the tank the past few days. Tonight I couldn't find him, and the Maroon Clown was going crazy looking for it. Well after some searching, I found it............dead in the intake for my filter, and ground up in the bottom of the filter.
So now I think I want to get rid of the Maroon Clown. I'm not going to be getting another RBTA, and he is going to be making a mess of the sand searching for this one.
Anyone have a way to catch him in a tank with no room to catch him?
If I have to, I would get another RBTA to keep him happy.

I'm no expert at this, but I use this trap to catch any fish I need to, 100% success rate for me. I actually caught my clowns with my intended target.

The clown has been caught.............not a tougher target, a 6-line Wrasse. He is much quicker and smarter........going to try a bottle trap again today, but he's a smart little bastard.

How do you make a bottle trap? Just a regular bottle?

How do you make a bottle trap? Just a regular bottle? Use a 2- or 3-liter bottle.

The size of your tank dictates the size of the bottle you use.
I can't fit a 2 or 3 liter bottle in my tank, so I used a 16oz bottle. The opening is big enough for most fish I keep, so it is plenty big.
