well I woke up this morning to my tank shut off. I started looking around and the breaker was flipped? so I turned it back on and it flipped again, so I unplugged a few pumps and slowly plugged them back in one at a time. next thing I know I have smoke piling out from under the tank!!! my skimmer went nuts last night and splashed water ever where, it ended up being one of the power supplys for the wp40's that it soaked and when it started sparking I was nervous especially with all the smoke

yea I have everything plugged into gfi's except the 2 wp40's!! now that has changed. thank god for circit breakers!!

Holy crap! I'm glad you caught it in time! That would of sucked!....... I have my whole tank plugged into to cheap power strips I got to get something safer.

lol I expect the worst and hope for the best.....
I found the water splashed on the plug for the heater into the heater controller so I just replaced that...
I am going to mod the skimmer with a valve instead of the way it is setup so this cant happen again
