Aside from expensive DSLR's, what cameras have you found to be good at taking tank photos, and frag photos? Ironically, my $1200 SCUBA camera is horrible at it. I am looking to get a camera in the $100 range (or less) just for the tank. Willing to build a box for better frag photos. Any suggestions???

iPhone 5 is all I use and honestly, for the most part it's better than any camera I've used for taking normal reef tank photos.

Currently using my htc one camera but my s3 camera was awesome especially for macro shots. I kept that phone specifically for its camera use after getting a new phone

This is the problem I have using the iPhone camera (although this is a bit exaggerated). But I am liking the sounds of the canon.

take the pics with blue lights off. white led will have plenty of blue that will show up in the pic.(unless its a 6500k or less led)
I use a cannon sx100 is and its alright but next I am getting a cannon rebel. if I had a lfs or I needed to take really nice pics of corals I would go with a sealife dc1400 new they are expensive but you can find them used for around $200

Lance what palys are those? I need some lol Sent from my HTC6500LVW using proboards I'm calling them "Orange Candy" since I bought them with no name and have been unable to find anything exactly like them anywhere else. I'm fragging them exclusively for CultivatedReef now. He hasn't posted them yet though. Need to harass him...

Oddly the image seemed to gain color by about 10% when I uploaded it to the website. Sigh, dont you just love computers! I will have to adjust for that but no time now. Got to go pack orders!
