I'd like to take a couple mins of people's time to get feedback on the different projects people use for coral dips?? Now from my research I think I may try the semi diy Bayer insect killer seen in picture below. Does anyone know about this from personal experience? From what I've read it's safe for all corals softies, lps and sps and kills all coral parasites but don't think it will work on bacterial and fungal infections so I'm thinking of using 2 different products as to make sure it gets the job done! I haven't really had any problems yet but I don't want any witch is why I'm now qt fish and will note be dipping corals coming in and going out of my tank! Any and all feedback and experience is wanted ty Sent from my SCH-R530U using proboards

There r a bunch of coral dips out there. If you r adding a new coral to ur tank you should really dip it first.
When dipping corals u have to take in consideration what u r dipping for and the species of coral. Some coral do not do well with certain dipping methods.
Freshwater, reef dip (seachem), revive, bayer and flatworm X are all dips methods I would use in the past.

So you have used Bayer Stephen? What kind of corals did it seem to be safe for? From what I read it was safe for all corals but only kills bugs, parasites and worms?

For hitchhikers/pests I've used oral revive, but some Sps don't like it, which I'm getting coral Rx next For bacterial/fungal infections and algae issues on polyps and lps I use hydrogen peroxide mixed up to 50/50 with tank water. To be honest I've seen more critters eject themselves from frags/rocks from a peroxide dip than in the revive or iodine dips Ives used in the past. Only thing is Sps is sensitive to peroxide dips so I use full strength peroxide and put drop by drop on trouble spots, and soft corals like leathers and Xenia tend to from peroxide. That said, I use peroxide to rid my rocks of unwatned Xenia!

Everyone says that but my pulsating xenia grows like crazy but I keep it just a couple inches away from the rest of the rock work and never have any problems and I have 2 different types. My wife loves the people pulsating xenia so I have to keep some.
