So I just changed out my carbon filter pad earlier this morning and I came home this evening and noticed my water I very slightly cloudy. Usually it's crystal clear. Is this any cause for concern? Does anyone know why this happened?

Dumb question but did you rinse off the carbon?

Is the temp of your tank water normal?? ie... Is your heater working properly? If your water gets too cold you can have bacteria die off and this can cause cloudy water.

Do you have any macro algae that could have gone asexual? Many types of macro algae are well known for being able to go asexual and release clouds of spores into the water. Any pics?

I did rinse the carbon, maybe not enough? It seems to have cleared up. If it happens again I'll be sure to take pics. Heater is fine and no macro algae that I know of though.
