So,I know I've had a bunch of questions lately and is love to thank everyone who's helped recently! I have one more question, I have a bunch of base Tuck that was live just a few months ago. I had no room for it in my previous tank. Now, I'm looking to build up a pretty good amount of it in my current tank. What's the best way to do it? I'd imagine I'd need to rinse it first? Anything else I should know before I go putting it in my tank?

Here is what I do regardless of what type of rock I get, live, dead, somewhere in between. Fill up 5 gallon bucket with rock. Pour old tank water over it. Put in power head. Cook for 3-4 weeks at room temperature. Replace old tank water as newer tank water becomes available. Check parameters weekly, when ammonia and nitrite are at zero I know they are ready to put in the tank

+1 Tucker and I also would add a piece of the live rock you already have to get the new stuff going faster maybe wait to add it till you do the first water change so the parameters aren't too crazy? But it'll help speed things up I've had rock cook in 2-3 weeks with ammonia and nitrites at zero
