So I'm downsizing to a 5 gln tank. What are some fish that would do well in a small tank? Im thinking about a sexy shrimp also but not sure.

Red spot cardinals, glass cardinals, banggai cardinals, clown gobies, yashia goby, cleaner goby, small damsel or small pair of clowns, scooter dragonet if you can keep enough pods for it. Royal grama, single dotty back. There's a ton of small fish that could work in a 5 gallon. Trying to have multiple small fish in there is where it will get tricky.

A pair of cardinals with a shrimp/goby pair and either some different zoanthids and Lps or some small sps would be my choice for a nano tank that size.

I second the shrimp/goby pair and maybe an cleaner goby? I really like my blue line...the people at work named him Billy Idol...his dorsal is close to his head and thus resembles a fro... okay way to much info :OD

Thinking gobies to. It's going to be softies mainly and I'm looking for a nice acan frag . I'm also going to be looking at a very small diy fuge/sump. I'm using one of those fluval chi tanks, they are pretty nice set up as mini reefs Sent from my SCH-I535 using proboards

I don't think I'd attempt anything but a snail, an hermit crab, and a shrimp in a 5g.
