Use to think these were watermelons but more and more there getting these yellow lightning bolts in the red centers and I'm starting to wonder if they are something different? whammin watermelon and eagle eyes look almost the same, mouth is different color and one is brighter than the other

I thought the same thing lance. I always chalked it up to light influencing the colors and individual people renaming corals to suit the sellers market. In my eyes they look identical.

Was only wondering because of the yellow steaks? Hadn't really seen them with the yellow steaks. Then again there's another kind of zoa's on the size of this same frag that used to be bright blue but now they've turned out to look just like green bay packers. (I asked Ryan when he was at my house);D

I thought the same thing lance. I always chalked it up to light influencing the colors and individual people renaming corals to suit the sellers market. In my eyes they look identical. Here's what I know: - most corals will change subtly or radically in your aquarium relative to what it looked like when you bought it - you can charge more if you give a coral a fancy name |

I got this frag with both on it for 10 bucks! one is green and yellow [green bay packers] the others are blue and red [patriots] with green around the edges for the football field so i'm calling these 2 different zoa's on the same frag super bowl XXXI zoanthids!! big bucks now!!! LOL I don't know if anyone will get that but I thought it was funny! and i'm obviously jk

I just enjoy watching them change colors!! I kinda wish they would find some zoos that would just constantly keep changing colors!!!! that would be awesome and fun to watch! that would be one frag I think i'd never get tired of!  |

All you have to do is constantly change your lighting and water conditions... keep in mind I didn't say the colors would be good colors. |
