Do they sell clams there? I'm taking a trip up there and I'd like to know if its worth it. Right now I've been going to Atlantis and PETCO. Do they have lps sps?

He always has a mix of everything. I've seen clams there many times. Last week I was there the had a huge derasa clam. Usually has tons of soft and LPS corals. Some times he has some sps frags as well. Even if he doesn't have something in stock, he'll order it. The best part about Deep sea creations is the lack of overly pushy opinions and the whole my way is the only right way attitude that you get from a couple of other stores around here. He'll also do straight trades for stuff which is cool too. Its definitely worth the trip over!

I was just looking at a 8" squmosa clam the other day that thing is beautiful!! I bought my gold rim blue maxima there

denis' laid back attitude is probably what kept me in this hobby instead of quitting.. i remember going into his store when i was only a couple months into the hobby, frustrated, and almost ready to give up because of all the conflicting info i was getting on various forums on the internet. it was overwhelming, and i assumed you needed to be close to a rocket scientist to be successful.
his display tanks looked awesome and after learning about what he does to keep everything working, i realized there's not "one correct way" to do things. basically, he was in sa position to easily take advantage of me being a newbie and could've convinced me to buy this or that... but instead, he told me the truth, gave me some good advice (mostly to just chill out and not pull my hair out with my tank... tends to take the fun out of it), and hey, it was smart business on his part, because i'm still in the hobby, and still giving him my business.
definitely check out his shop. i'm glad that i did.

Just so everyone knows, Dennis at Deep Sea Creations has a ton of decent used equipment for sale right now. I just got an Eshopps 1200 overflow for like $40. He has a ton of nice corals right now and he even has a bunch of really nice clownfish from Sea and Reef. Well worth stopping in.
