I could always meet you part way, I've got some here and some in Acton that's live, and more that's dead. It would all be cheap

I never recomend using ammonia neutralizers, I find it takes the bacteria longer to break it apart and prolongs the cycling.. I personally would get a bottle of dr Tim's, microbe lift or bio-spira to get your cycle going again.

agreed I believe that after it's been locked up by prime or amequel it probably takes the bacteria a little longer to break it down but in a emergency it works great and can really help a lot! I've personally never had to use it in my reef set up but when I first started on fresh water I used to use it in a pinch.

When it comes to not losing fish/coral I would prefer to use prime and get them out of their rather than have them suffer through a cycle at all. Dr. Tim's, although expensive would be your best option.

My ammonia has stayed at 0 since doing a 90% water change. I'm not positive ammonia alone was the issue. My lps specifically was all lost, the only softy I lost was xenia which I could never keep anyway. Sps, mushrooms and zoa is all that's left of my tank and the fish and inverts. Strange

That is strange, but then again, we cannot fully understand our tanks anyways, only interpret them to the best of our abilities. Glad you didn't lose the expensive SPS!
