I have used both in quite a few different settings. Both are quiet and effective. The 6015 uses 3.5 watts versus the 4.5 for the 425 Koralia. Flow patterns are essentially the same. The Tunze has the 4 blue silicone gromets between the pump and the magnet. Making it a bit more vibration friendly. The extra few dollars for the tunze is worth it in itself simply due to the fact that the tunze magnet mount is far superior to the rubber koralia mount. I find that the koralia nanos can become dislodged from their mount much easier than the tunze. The tunze 6015 is a bit larger in size but I always go the route of the tunze over the koralia if the availability is there.

The link for the Tunze only tells you the diameter of the ball. I want to know which one is smaller in overall size. The bottom line is, I like that these use less power, but I hate the way they look in the tank. If I get one I want it to be the least "intrusive" one. Fixed flow rate is fine.

I might just eat the extra cost of electricity and get a couple of Hydor picos. You can't hardly tell they're there.

I was reading about the recalls on the nano due to the magnets rusting so I started checking pumps and found this with one of my koralia 1050
