Hi guys I was thinking about starting a 10 gallon frag tank and wanted opinions on what equipment I should get. Please keep in mind that I'm a broke college student haha.
Preliminary equipment list: 10g rimless tank 50w heater plexi glass for making bio cube type filtration Maxi-Jet 247 GPH return pump koralia evo 750 egg crate lights??? PAR38 perhaps to save on cost?
I want to be able to grow some sps mainly but also lower light corals
anyway lemme know what you all think.

use a 120w led and dim it down. you would need to par 38 bulbs to get the light spread evenly plus the 120w would be use full when you upgrade your frag tank to a 40b

well I wont be upgrading for at least 2 years. We have very limited space here so until I get a house I'm stuck with my 20 gallon and this 10 frag tank. After that it's 150+ gallons for me

Are you connecting the 20 gallon to the 10 frag tank?

that would be the smart thing to do right? connect them and you won't need as much equipment just a light cause the other tank would filter it and help feed your corals at the same time! at least I think so. lol I'm not an expert but that's what I was thinking of doing
