My wife and I drove up to Cultivated Reef today, and we were absolutely amazed at the selection and quality of the corals Greg had. It is definitely worth the drive!

Matt, it was really nice meeting you and your wife. Did the Palua nepthea behave or did it come off the frag plug?

It is still in the plug, but it looks a little funny around the base. I'll keep an eye on it.

I like to place them in a bowl of rubble and let them attached over a few weeks. Then I glue them down to a plug. This one had jumped out of the bowl and attached on some sand and detritus type stuff on the bottom of the tank. That makes for a difficult glueing haha

The Palau nepthia came really close to breaking off after the first couple days, so I moved it to a lower flow area, now the base is twice as thick across and I don't expect it to go anywhere. It seems to be growing good where it is, but would it be better off with higher flow?

I keep them in both low flow areas and higher flow areas and it seems pretty happy in both areas. But it definitely needs some flow to do well.
