Ditto, TOO MUCH LIGHT! I have LED's and I never put them up more than 50% power, MH are strong but I argue that some of these LED fixtures are stronger.

So you are saying that a 120w led is stronger then 2 250 Watt mh with PC's? This fixture has to be pretty damn good to compete with that. All signs are pointing to that being true I just can't wrap my mind around it. I moved the hammer to the sand and it looks way better.

If they are the same as the reefbreeders you can remove the lenses and they will shine similar to 120º lenses.

I'm about ready to take this led of my tank. My birdsnest is almost dead. There's some bleaching on some corals Browning on others. I've tried moving the lights down. Leaving alone and last night raising them. Just been a headache that I don't want anymore. I got everything ready to change back last night. If there's more issues today I'm taking it off.

Yeah no optics. Which I was fine with because I wanted the spread. Also I wanted white and blue because I didn't want the red in it. Not that it matters in that small amount.

someone told me you should wean the old set of lights out with doing a combo of the two lights (new and used) and to taper off on you old lights so its not a huge difference of shock. Just something I heard...thought i'd share

Most of the acros are OK. Still look healthy. The lps is coming around. Any coral I got from a led tank is sooo happy.

The monti on top was greener then a slimer. The birdsnest is just falling apart (rpn) the digitata is only suffering on the extensions the main body is good.

My honest opinion is an acclimation problem from the MH to LEDs

On the monti you can see when I changed the lights took on a new growth pattern and is almost growing of it as a new coral.
