So I've had it up for 3 days... I know not long but I have noticed enough to post about. So first day and everyday since I noticed my frogspawn is not happy at all. Day 2 I moved it to the center still unhappy. As of right now I think ill have to sell it. So that's the bad now the good. I love the look of them and I love playing with the dimmers. No heat at all so FINALLY my temp has stabled out and now only varies within in 1 degree! Next best thing is the spectrum, already I noticed the grass spots in my tank dying off and disappearing. I have done nothing else other then add theses leds. All my acros seem happy and are not coloring down. For me there was no acclamation process because if anything I went down in light and to do a acclamation that way if very time consuming. So other then the frogspawn and cmp wondering why there best customer has drop out of 1st place leds where a good choice.

Your frog will probly come around if it's just the lights, what were you running before? Are you certain it's the light causing its stress?

Are you willing to cut and sell a single head? I'm not sure my light would be any better, but I am looking to add a frogspawn.

Splitting the frogspawn isn't really a option that helps.

I don't know I'm confused. I built a big.platform and put it under the light and it seems more pissed. There was a older bulb on that side maybe it is getting to much light but that's hard to believe considering the amount of light that was over the tank.

I am new at this, but I can't see how LED lighting can hurt a frogspawn. I would also put the old lighting up to save it, but does anyone know why this caused a problem?

the leds I got are allot brighter than the old ones I have. I would say it is possibly getting to much light! led is color specific, meaning almost all the light it puts out is used by the coral,mh may be brighter but if the coral dosnt use 1/2 the light it makes whats the point

They where Phoenix bulbs I'm sure there spectrum was pretty good. Although they may have been getting to much light. I may have over done it.

my frogspawn is defiantly lightening up in color so I turned whites to 35% and blue to 75% I love the color from my new led, only thing I dont like is having my lights 14" above my tank because of the 90 degree optics.
