I just saw the announcement from SA that they have a new morph, the frostbite (Wyoming white x snowflake)! I like to think of them as Dalmatian clowns. I was hoping that these would be a possible out come of the two morphs crossing. Here's the pic they posted on FB

The frostbite looks "cool", but I'm not a big fan of the morphs. Hard to beat the wild type.

I used to like all the different designer clowns alot till i started really looking them over and now all i see is flaws. I agree, it's hard to beat a perfect wild type clown of any species. It's not even the markings that do it so much for me as it is the overall look of all aqua cultured clowns. There's a definite odd inbred look to all of them compared to their wild counterparts. I'll give sustainable aquatics credit though, that clown has a normal head and body shape but even this clown looks like it still has the reduced fin size compared to wild clowns. To each their own though. I do have an appreciation for the wild born clownfish morphs though like the original wild lightning maroon clowns and the original wild Picasso percula clowns.
