I have a couple frags of GSP and an acan that seem to be shriveled up. All my other corals are fine, and my parameters seem to be in line, save for Mag. Seems to be a little low. Cal. 400 Alk. 8 Mag 1150 Nitrate > 10 Phos. .20 Ph 8.0-8.2
Any ideas? How does everyone else supplement mag?

If your using instant ocean the Mg tends to be low, I dose my mix water and the waterchanges take care of it. I use the two part powder from BRS it's more affordable than buying a mixed solution, I add about 10ml per gallon to bring my mix up to 1350 or so. I've never had luck with acans though they slowly waste away in my system.

A few times it has dipped to 77, but mostly 79-81.

Predation? Any fish taking shots at them?

It doesn't take much to make a coral retract. I have a couple of Acans that my Dwarf Angels like to pick at but ONLY when they expand. So, they stay shriveled almost all the time.
Stoopid angels...

Possibly fish problem. The gsp were doing it before any new fish additions. Should i put them under a cover and see if they recover?

I would just try and observe the tank as much as possible, GSP are nearly impossible to kill anyway. The acan migh benefit from being in a container of some sort to keep it separate from any nippy fish or inverts.

Acans looked good when I got home last night. They yesterday morning I moved them up a little higher in the tank.
