I'm about to order 2 led fixtures. There 118 shipped any way do I want the Cree chip or the bridgedlux or whatever in them?

If its for the same price I suppose you should go with the cree. But for 118 I dont think you can go wrong either way. What make and model are the fixtures? Where are you getting them from?
