Really hard to tell from the picture, but from what I can see I would say it is a pseudochromis. Where did you get it?

That's what it was said to be, pink dottyback. But it's not. It looks most like an anthia. It's bottom fin is long and wispy like. It's a pale pink color. It's ALWAYS in the rocks, under them, usually inside them. Never swims. Doesn't come out even to eat. :/

Can you get any more pics? Especially one showing the tail? The wispy fins are the pelvic fins.

It's got a shorter thicker body then a dottyback. I googled peach anthia and it pretty much looks like that. But if that's what it is what's it doing jammed up in the rocks all the time?

I looked it up and thought it was a male ring eyed dottyback to a lot of dottybacks have those long bottom fins and that's one of the things you can see the best in the picture. plus I'm no expert but I have a dottyback and it only comes out of the rock work when it's time to eat! Lol and even then he's in and out I have this really big live rock with big tunnels all through it and he just swims all through it like it's a fun house! but colors probably aren't showing through right now all the way if you just got him???

Nice pictures. Is he coming out a bit more now? If you look close you can see a faint blue stripe along the outer edge of the anal fin, also found on the ring eyed db.
