well I wanted to get some more flow in my tank so thanks to "industry" I got a great price on these now the trick is to get them dialed in with the other pumps in my tank, not that easy! for flow in my 180g I have rio hf26 (return pump), 2x koralia 1400's and now the 2x wp40 that makes around 11,000gph in my tank!! hopefully I can get it so its not a whirlpool!!

ok these things are amazing! with one pump running I had waves crashing over the edge of the tank!! and I had to turn them on one of the lower pulsing settings, to keep the chalices in the sand down in the sand, it was lifting the biggest one about 2" up! I think the korilia 1400 are going to go, no need for them anymore

you dont need any controller you just plug it in it has its own controller. it even has a little light sensor to make the pumps go into night mode when lights go out (sensor is cheap and reef lighting burns them out
most places sell them for around $125 fish-street is the cheapest at $75 but after shipping its right up there with the rest

So you have just the return pump and one of these new pumps now? What is the range for gph for it? I'm thinking about a pump controller for my tank. Interesting that this one has one built in.
