So, I looked at my tank last night to see what kinds of things I'd be able to see. The only thing I did see was tons and TONS of little tiny bug looking things that looked like insects. These things were teeny tiny, so much I could barley see them. I have no idea what they are, the only think I can think of is copepods?

I love them!! If you have a good population you should be fine, just make sure he's your only copepod feeder

I have 3 chromis, a sailfin tang, a royal gramma, a firefish, two saddleback clowns and a lawnmower blenny. Ive heard the blennys eat copepods but then i heard they dont so i dont know what to believe!

My lawnmower would but it's not his sole diet, he will eat mysis and flake food, but he lives his algae, I'm sure you could keep both without issue

I wouldn't do a Mandarin w/o a mature fuge they devour copods extremely quick and can wipe out a tanks population, your tank is relatively new still I would wait longer, and add a fuge if you don't have one yet. You could try an ORA Mandarin they are captive bred and supposed to eat pellets but about 4 times as expensive and may still starve. They are one of my favorite fish and my next setup will revolve around keeping one.
