This green stuff has been in my sump for a little while, but the pink just showed up today.

I had something just like that happen to one of my sumps. The yellowish green was actually in the silicone and the pink I assume was just a thin coating of cyano. I can only guess that the yellowish green color has something to do with the silicone not being fully cured and absorbing something from the water, maybe ammonia. Just a guess though.

Here's another. Is it diatoms?

That definitely looks like diatoms or algae. I know your tanks is fairly new. Have you checked you nitrates and phosphates recently?

Phosphate is on the high side. Nitrates aren't that bad though. You could probably just wait it out another month or so till everything fully stabilizes before trying something like Seachem phosgaurd to lower the phosphates. This is in your sump? Are you seeing the same thing in your display tank?

Nothing in the display, but I assume that is due to no lighting. My fixture will be here in a week or two.
