Greetings Maine Aquaria,
Last fall many of you will remember we had a frag draft that was a lot of fun. For those that are interested, Cultivated Reef is planning on hosting another frag draft/swap this fall. Please select your preferred date from the poll. The poll will lock on April 9th at 10:00pm and the date with the most votes will be used.

In addition to the typical swapping, selling, and reef chatting from fellow members etc we are going to offer a "frag draft". This is how it will work for those who wish to participate...
There will be a dedicated coral rack in one of our tanks. This rack will hold coral that has a retail value of $20 all the way up to $100 and will consist of zoos, softies, lps, acans, sps and anemones. Each participant will need to purchase either a $50 or a $75 ticket or both if you wish
The $50 ticket will give you 3 picks from the coral rack. The $75 ticket will give you 5 picks. Each participant will draw a number from a basket one time to see in which order people get to choose. That order will be repeated until all the rounds are exhausted. You can buy multiple tickets if you wish.
Tickets can be purchased by sending a paypal payment to sales@cultivatedreef.com or paying at the day of the draft. If paying with paypal please let me know the payment is for the frag draft ticket(s). Ticket purchases will be available until the day before the frag draft. But if you plan to participate it will be helpful to place your order sooner. If you do not have a paypal and wish to pay in advance please email me at sales@cultivatedreef.com to make other payment arrangements.
This is a great opportunity to get a high quality/value coral bundle for a killer price. $50 should easily get on average about $100++ worth of coral and a $75 ticket should easily get average about $150++ worth of coral. As we get closer to the frag draft day I will be asking participants what type of coral they especially would like to see in the draft. I will be sure to have much much more coral available then will be picked to allow for a awesome selection of coral from beginning to end. No ugly leftovers to choose from
