I check in here every once in a while. Are there ever any get-togethers so members can check out the tanks/systems of others? Like a scheduled pot luck and home tank tour combo? I'd love to see what other people are doing.

Ya it's hard doing big gatherings like that. Especially just to see my tank. That's why I always give thanks to Greg at CR for putting on his frag swaps (hint, hint )

I'm open to hosting a swap/get together again but I live in Naples so not that convient to alot of members, I like the swaps at CR, but I also enjoy gatherings at someone's house, I find it easier to talk to people cause there is usually more room

I've been planning on doing another frag draft in April. But that doesn't mean someone can't also have a get together. However I did want to make mention of my plans . I will post some details along with a pole in the next few days so that people can vote on the day etc.

I've only made it to one of Greg's drafts. It was awesome. But people tend to vote for days I can't go. I'm holding out hope that people vote the right way in the poll and I actually get to go to the next one! Also, if I'm holding out hope for things, rock nems would be cool to see in a draft.

Thanks for the replys! I've been over to Greg's a few times, but not in the last year or so. I'd be up for a swap there. Also, I'd be happy to host a gathering in Belfast if anyone is interested in my three little 10 gallon reefs and a 40 breeder in progress.

If a small group of maybe five people wanna get together in say June or July on a weekend such as Saturday or Sunday afternoon I have some tanks I'm currently setting up for saltwater mainly seahorses but if I finish them in time I can have a small potluck for a small group at my apt in Augusta if anyone's up to it? Let me know wat time works for everyone!

Awesome zeeb! I have limited space but if someone wants to bring a fold up picnic table I think we can enjoy some light dishes in the nice summer weather as my complex has a beautiful grassy backyard with trees everywhere I figured if anyone is ok with eating outside we can bring beach towels and have a cookout in the yard and I will give a quick tour of both tanks briefly before food is ready that way we have more time and space to mingle and talk anything tanks related lol will keep those interested updated as often as I'm able!
