Really? I hated my Apex the first time because it was hard for me to understand. Even when I'd go on the Neptune forum I could still never really get the proper answers or Mayne I didn't ask the proper questions, Idk? But this time around when I got the full Apex it was a breeze. It automatically found my router and all I really had to do was log into my old acct and delete my old Apex jr. Even adding new modules and the Wav was a breeze. You have it hooked up to your smart phone and can you access the Apex from anywhere? In order to access it from outside the network you have to jump through a bunch of hoops. Maybe it was just the provider we have but I had to call to get a special username and password to get access to the Ubee (router manufacturer) router settings page. Then I had to set up a static IP allow outside access, and match the ports to my phone, the router and then the Apex. None of this is covered in the setup page and stuff I had to research on the forum...I'm not exaggerating if I said I spent probably 30 hours getting everything where it is today. Maybe I should have just called Customer Support. From what I hear they are awesome. If you're using Fusion it gets rid of all those hassles. Easy access from any internet connected device....anywhere. You just have to remember you Fusion UID and password and the url of course. Granted it's not the easiest thing to read on a smartphone since you access it through a browser and not a dedicated app, but the ease of use and setup more than makes up for it I think.

See that's what I thought but now I'm really confused? Lol guess I'll have to test it out this weekend.

I believe he's correct. If you log into Fusion through your web browser on the phone you can access with Fusion. I have the App hooked up.

I thought they had a wizard type program that covered all the common functions. If you don't want it can I but it? Sorry just noticed your post. It's listed on the Reef Radiance web site. It's gone up to 199.00

The Reef Angel does have a wizard built into their software, so it's very very easy to setup and use. If you want to get into more complicated controls, there is plenty of code in their forum that you can just copy and paste. I have the Reef Angel Plus, Wi-Fi attachment, 2 extra temp probes, salinity module, water level module, and ATO pump. It all works very well and the customer support from them is top notch since you are dealing with the owner/creator. Just remember..........That $189 is going to be the basic unit with a PH probe and 1 temp probe, everything else that you want is extra. Steve Hi Steve.
Which one do you have? REEF ANGEL PLUS CONTROLLER (ANALOG) Or REEF ANGEL PLUS CONTROLLER ( PWM ) ? Thanks Ed

I think I have the analog, but it really doesn't matter unless you are going to use it to dim your lights....which I don't use it for. Have you checked out the Reef Angel site and forum, there is a lot of good info on there and sometimes even used systems for sale. There have been a couple on Ebay recently too.
