Yeah actually to be exact I do 16g because one of my buckets is a 6g. But I don't do WC to replenish anything at all, but rather remove organics and a little Po4 and No3. Maybe add a tiny amount of trace elements since I never ever dose them. But that's not my goal at all.

Well I just learned something new... Thanks Jason Your dosing now so you don't want to replenish anything with a WC imo. If you weren't dosing that'd be different. Let's say your tanks constantly at Cal-425 Alk-8.5 and Mag-1350 and you do a WC with RC at Cal-450 Alk-12 and Mag-1400 what's gonna happen? Everything's going up (although only a little) it's still consistently raising your levels slightly and creating instability.

mine figures out to be about 7% water change with a 5 gal bucket. based on my assumption i have about 65-70 gal total system. it takes me about 5 mins to siphon out 5 gal and replace it .

Cleaned things up a bit, more to do tonight. Was a busy summer and not much time to play with the tank

Bought the apex and auto feeder from Ryan, as well as the waterblaster. Next is the tank and stand for the new 150 build
