I've gotten everything for my tank from Easy. They are only 10min down the road from my house.
But I appreciate that advice. I will check out divers den for sure

I always make sure to ask them how long the fish has been there, they usually dont have a problem holding for you for a couple days to make sure there isn't any issues from shipping

Easy gets their fish delivered every Thursday. I anxiously picked up the wrasse Thursday night.

Recently I've been having an issue with this purple slime algae. I cleaned my rocks off good last week, but now it's spread to the sand. I syphoned it up the other day but it keeps coming back. Any good tips??

Cyanobacteria for sure, syphon out as much as possible during water changes or place a filter sock in your sump and syphon as much as you can into the sock. Also keep your power heads as clean as possible because they're the #1 spreader of cyano most of the time. The faster you act on this kind of a problem the better off you'll be and it's most likely a nutrient problem. Normally excess dissolved organics and or phosphates and nitrates.
