Love the two brain corals you have. By far one of my favorite corals. I'm working on growing out a decent half dollar size frag of one for now. Can't wait till its the size of each of yours. Nice tank by the way!

Nice tank by the way! Yeah - true brains seem under-loved these days. I think they are awesome and I love the contrast they bring to branched corals. I also love how this brain it is affecting the growth of the Plating Monitpora growing a couple of inches above it...you can see in the pic how the Monti was growing out horizontally, but it reached a point and then started growing vertically! The brain is keeping the Monti from shading it out!  |

So I got into saltwater on June 1st. I started with a 20 gallon tank with nothing. Now I have a 58 gallon running 1 ice cap 250watt halide. So that tank you see is only 45 days old. I think I've done pretty well for being a full on noob.

Looks like a pretty nice tank jstearn. I forget which option to pick on Photobucket to put the pic directly on the forum. Think its the 3rd option down if I remember correctly.

the rarest coral I have ever owned or have seen. I have grown it from 3/4" north aussi Symphyllia wilsoni  some older side shot's of the 180   some frags   |
