very nice! is that a Blueberry acro? Blue, purple, yellow and green for now. We'll see if it holds these colors over time. I wouldn't feel comfortable selling this guy for much till its kept these colors for an extended period of time.

That is one awesome looking piece Your one of a couple people that has a piece:) yours was from the top so it's mostly purple and blue. Other colors should come in with growth. I cut a bigger frag last night to try and purposely get the other colors. Attachments:

Jason,
I really like your torch garden, very cool! So I take it you can place different types of torches together with out worry of them poisoning each other like some other corals?
How about anemone's ? Can different types be placed in close quarters? Like a 29 Bio cube?
Thanks, Ed

Ed, yes you can place different types of torches next to each other. Things that are the same species or very closely related. You should always ask someone who knows before placing corals next to each other because it can be confusing. Like frogspawn and hammer corals can go together (Euphyllia) but i've always been told not to put torches (also Euphyllia) next to hammers and frogspawn. Anenomes are kinda the same. You can keep the same types together, Bta's with Bta's. But putting a Bta right next to a carpet may not be best. I've put a carpet on the other side of my tank and had a bta be pissed off for weeks. Hopefully this helps

Do you ever get nervous about a BTA moving and killing one of your acros? I have a large 10" BTA that could do some real damage if it decides to walk.... Even thinking of getting rid of it because of my concern.

Even thinking of getting rid of it because of my concern. Yes I deal with that stress all the time! luckily my Bta's like to find a spot and stay put. I think the only time I have to worry about them moving is when they split. I'm praying one will split soon so I can catch it moving and get one out. I owe a friendly forum member a rainbow as soon as I can get one safely.

I've been lucky that my BTA hasn't moved since I put it in the tank over a year ago.... Knock on wood
I did have a 1.5 inch birdsnest frag fall into the BTA.... The anemone stayed closed for a couple days and then spit out a white skeleton, odd to see that happen.

are BTA'S POISONOUS? WAS WONDERING WHY THEY ARE SO MUCH MORE COSTLY THAN OTHER ANEMONES.

One reason for the cost is... Everyone wants them so the price goes up
