As long as I've been buying from LA it's always been that way. Ryan would probably know if they used to do that though?

To my knowledge, it's always been a doorstep delivery setup.

Wish I'd noticed this earlier There's a lavender Rhodactis on LA that I haven't seen anywhere else that I've been drooling over.

I've made multiple DD orders over the past few months and UPS has always delivered to my house by 10:30am.
You can also request that they hold the order for 2 days before shipping so you can have time to shop.
Great item, buy quick, write note in order to hold shipping for two days.... If you end up making multiple orders they will combine all orders together.... So, you may end up being charged shipping for three separate orders, but once they are combined you they eliminate the shipping costs to just one order or nothing if it hits the free ship mark.

Also, shipping charge stays the same regardless of where they are being shipped from... let's say you order 1 dd fish, 1 live aquaria coral, and a clam from ORA.... three packages; Wisconsin, CA, and Florida still have the same one shipping charge if you haven't reached the free shipping threshold.

Really? That weird because I've gone to order a fish from DD before and tried to add a few snails and crabs and it tried to charge me twice? I didn't know the Ora stuff comes directly from Ora... I thought they just bought Ora stock. Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards

You can always call them and they will take care of it if you are uneasy. I've done it several times. Call them to verify. I ordered an aquacultured ORA maxima clam that was shipped from Florida, they must have some kind of shipping center or it is drop shipped... not sure how that works.
